Any type of commercial and/or promotional use of the name ‘Sivananda’ is unlawful. Here are some examples of impermissible commercial and/or promotional use:

• Offering yoga classes or other trademarked goods and/or services under the name ‘Sivananda’
• Registering and/or using a domain containing the description ‘Sivananda’
  
• Using the name ‘Sivananda’ in the description of a yoga school

These are just a few examples of impermissible use. There are many other types of use that violate trademark rights.

The name ‘Sivananda’ in conjunction with yoga can only be used with the express written permission of the owner of the trademark.
