Yoga for children

Yoga for children

A healthy habit – right from the beginning

Children who learn yoga at an early age have a healthy head start in life. This is especially important in our fast-paced and stressful world. In principle, children of any age can start practising yoga, but from age six or seven on, they have a much easier time paying attention.

Fitness for both body and mind

Through yoga, children learn in a playful way to concentrate. The exercises improve their motor skills, train their sense of balance and as a result boost their overall health and physical fitness. By taking part in the yoga classes, children also develop important social skills. Regular yoga practice offers effective help for example with learning disorders, hyperactivity, stress and lack of exercise. Moreover, yoga increases self-confidence – and is a lot of fun besides!
