Bhakti Yoga

Narada's Bhakti Sutras

In this classical scripture, the ancient Indian sage Narada describes the path of devotion to God (Bhakti Yoga). It is written in the form of a sutra (Sanskrit for ‘chain’ or ‘thread’), or a textbook in verse, which consists of 84 aphorisms on the cultivation of Bhakti (divine love).

Bhakti Yoga is one of the four classical paths of yoga besides Jnana Yoga (knowledge), Raja Yoga (controlling the mind) and Karma Yoga (selfless service) and is considered to be the easiest and most direct path to Self-realisation for our times.
